Williamsburg, IA: The Depot Express anticipates the opening of its newest location on 103 S Highland St. 52361 on or before the 1st week of October since acquiring the Fast Stop in July of 2018. The new Williamsburg location will be the friendly convenience stores 10th location. The Depot Express’s newest location will help meet increased demand for food, convenience and gas options available to Williamsburg residents.
“We have always admired the Williamsburg community with growing up in the Oxford and Tiffin communities. We’ve had a connection with Williamsburg our entire lives. Frequenting the town for business, sporting events, or just to spend time at the pool.” Said the Scheetz family.
The Depot Express Williamsburg location will be managed by Jay Greiner, the previous owner of Fast Stop. All former employees of Fast Stop have been offered positions with The Depot Express that will allow The Depot Express to stay connected with the community and build on Jay’s success. “Jay has a great reputation in the community and his positive attitude will be an excellent asset for us as a company.” Said Co-owner and Operations Director Matt Scheetz. In addition, 6 more employees have been hired to help serve the community.
The 3,500 sq ft building is undergoing an entire remodel with new bathrooms, coolers, freezers, beer cave and kitchen. Along with interior additions, Diesel fuel will be added to available fuel options with 2 new fuel dispensers being installed. The Depot Express offers a wide selection of convenience items and an array of freshly prepared Depot food. The Depot Express is well known for their Depot Pizza, friendly employees and marketplace offerings.
